Hello again! It's me - Jen - with another installment of what I HOPE you consider good stuff. Stuff that will lift you up, encourage you to think and maybe motivate you to take one small step forward in your professional or personal development. Today, I'll share another conversation with a friend of mine who has a podcast, but this time we specifically discussed what leadership looks like in the real world. AND I'll introduce you to one of the best books I've found in a long time to help you focus! If you're keen, keep reading! If not, I won't hold you hostage - you're always free to leave anytime. JEN ListenReadI'm quite a reader - both in work hours and in my personal time! I've run across lots of books this year that have impacted me in various ways, but I wanted to share THIS one with you today. It's called the 12 Week Year. And it has turned my concept of 'planning' on its head! I'm no longer looking at a YEAR or 12 months in front of me. I'm instead focused on how to maximise the next 12 weeks - setting specific goals each time. And wow - talk about helping me FOCUS! I would encourage you to read it if you haven't. The link to the 12 Week Year website is below (I'm NOT a 12 Week Year affiliate - full disclosure!).

The Roundup Thoughts & Other Good Stuff From the Last Month (or so) Back in the day (I've been at this for 13 years now!) I used to write LOOONNGG weekly newsletters to my audience that actually got really great feedback. GREAT! But they took far too long to create. You see, I'm a bit of a control freak and like to do the writing myself so they eventually fell by the wayside. NOT so great. Fast forward to today, and my goal as I type is to once again become consistent with sharing good stuff...
